In August 2005 Pastors Jon & Dee Cook started to meet with a small team of people at Starbucks in Newcastle and began to build an awesome church in the North East. This was done after meeting with their Pastor Gary Clarke from Hillsong London and explaining what was on their heart.

Today Newcastle CLC is meeting in an awesome venue in the centre of Newcastle for our Sunday Services. We are building Connect Groups that grow our Church community and enable people to build great friendships... find out more.

Out of the overflow of our lives we link with Compassion in sponsoring children specifically in the country of Tanzania.

We are building a great relationship with Dr Ian Wilson of Bridge2Aid in Tanzania. Dental health B2A is a UK based charity building the capacity of the Tanzanian health care services by providing dental training for Clinical Officers.

We also work closely with Mercy Ministries in Bradford and Sowing Seeds in Middlesbrough

Our vision is to build an awesome 21st Century church that has the same culture and impact as Hillsong London. Our Sunday services feature inspiring worship, practical Bible-based teaching and quality kids programs.

NCLC Women will look to inspire and release women into their God given destiny. Our Leadership Academy is designed to develop your leadership capacity, empowering and equipping you to lead and impact in every sphere of life. NCLC Men will be inspired to take up the challenge and grow into the real men and fathers that God wants them to be.

Over the next year we have the privilege of receiving inspiring teaching and lessons in leadership from Pastor Gary Clarke of Hillsong London, Nick Caine of Hillsong Network Sydney, Mal Fletcher of Next Wave International, and Scott Wilson of Institute for Creativity, Leadership and Management. We will also have some exceptional teaching from some of the leadership team at Hillsong London.
